Yeah, to extend off what this user said, banning all magic threads or whatnot won't really do anything other than just reduce the post count even further. We just need a few individuals to make threads of interesting topics every once in a while to spark some good discussions, and things should be dandy. There's many, including myself, who visit the board regularly, but there's just nothing interesting to reply to.
That being said though >>8817 brings about a good point, it'll be nice to have the magick threads that do exist be open to more open ended discussion that everyone could join in on rather than 'how summon succubi' and the mentioned circle-jerking that follows. I think it would be cool to be able to theorize on how it works from a practical standpoint (be it just vivid self-imaginings, or straight up schizophrenia), or even just talk about the mythos of it. There's some potential to be had I think.
