Does any of you guys know Matsumura Kenpo? It's a style of karate that is supposed to be more realistic and less artificial than shotokan, but I seriously have no clue if it's any good since of course everyone says their own style is the best. However, a more effective version in comparison to shotokan is pretty much what I'm looking for..Any ideas/advice?

Kyokushin is kind of the only brand of karate that I know of that's on par with modern full contact standards. Ke(n/m)po styles have always come across as seedy to me but hey, I haven't seen every style out there.
