Range Report:

I took it to the local BLM land. I was having some issues getting rounds to feed. After about two magazines I realized it was caused by me not cycling through the full action of the lever.

It kept shaving off pieces of lead and bending the lip of the casing as it fed into the chamber but I found this to be negligible. The action was smooth as silk and I was able to hit a 4" x 12" piece of steel 8/9 times at 130 yards.

Once I got past the user generated errors the rifle was working flawlessly. I am very happy with my purchase.

That is really nice. Conradulations OP! I'd like to get myself a lever action and a revolver that share ammunition one of these days. It's on my "to get" list with my FN FAL and my Colt Python.

Hey could you give me any tips for finding maps to BLM shooting areas online? I've been once before here in NM but I can't remember where.

Try looking there. I purchased all my BLM maps from the offices in my area. I'm sure there is one near you.
