For most of my life I was what in America would be called a liberal, simply because that's the default ideology we're bombarded with by the media and the education system. After a while though, I started noticing more and more internal contradictions in the dogma I had been fed, e.g. how we're taught that being proud of one's white heritage is the most evil thing imaginable, while it is supposedly very important that we let Blacks and Jews have pride in their heritage. I eventually made a conscious effort to eliminate as many of these self-contradictions from my thinking as possible, and in the process I shifted more and more to the right politically.
I was appalled by far-right neonazi-style nationalism however, mainly due to perceiving the nationalist community as being made up mostly of stupid beer-guzzling football hooligans, having bad experiences with dumb skinhead types on message boards who fit right into this image, and due to the fact that the main nationalist party we have here in Germany (NPD) are retards who advocated invading Poland to get back our eastern territories, which fed right into the stereotype of Nazis as psychopathic warmongers.
Antisemitism in particular seemed completely irrational to me. The neonazis I had encountered made all sorts of claims about Jewish conspiracies, but didn't back any of it up with credible sources, or any sources at all for that matter. I had also come across a couple of Christians who hated Jews for killing Jesus, which seemed particularly insane to me after I read the New Testament because Christianity is essentially a Jewish religion and Jesus was a Jew who even called himself the king of the Jews, and said that salvation will come from among the Jews (inb4 butthurt Christians messing this thread with responses to this).
Many Muslims I knew disliked Jews due to how Israel was treating the Palestinians. I could at least see this as sort of a rational argument, but this is a complex issue and I didn't know or care much about the subject. As time passed, my growing dislike for Muslim immigrants actually made me side with the Israelis on this issue.
I've always resented mass-immigration due to growing up as an ethnic minority surrounded by African and Asian immigrants, but I usually rationalized mass-immigration with a sort of fatalism, I thought that nothing could be done about it, and I didn't make it a top priority of my political stance. That changed however when I started learning Japanese and became more familiar with Japanese culture and society, and grew intensely envious of the fact that the Japanese have their own country where, except for around 1% of the population, everyone is of the same race as them, speaks the same language, is part of the same culture.
For a while I embraced Ron Paul-style libertarianism, because it seemed like a socially acceptable refuge from mainstream Cultural Marxism, and I agreed on many things with Ron Paul, who promoted many of the more sane aspects of libertarianism mixed up with a healthy dose of nationalism. But as I read more about it (the works of Rothbard etc.) I started to realize what a terrible and inhuman ideology libertarianism really is when you dig a bit deeper than the surface that people like Ron Paul let you see.
Finally, as I became aware of how the Jews are destroying our people, I also came to the realization that libertarianism does not offer a viable solution to this most important of problems. Moreover, realizing that Hitler was right in opposing the Jews and that I had been lied to about much of history by school and the media opened my mind to the political ideas the National Socialists advocated. Long story short, I now embrace many of the ideas espoused by Hitler and the NSDAP, and in many respects I see the Third Reich as a model society, while in economical terms I'd consider myself a distributist.
Right-wing sites I read regularly include counter-currents.com and theoccidentalobserver.net in English, and jungefreiheit.de in German. Ongoing radio shows I can recommend are Golden Dawn's monthly English podcast (http://xaamerica.podomatic.com/), Counter Currents Radio, and to a lesser extent the stuff released by Richard Spencer's National Policy Institute. I can also recommend listening to the archives of William Pierce's American Dissident Voices, The Sunic Journal, and Mark Weber's World Report, all of which you can find on archive.org.
