The main difference between Psys and Dels is with psys you know that you are hallucinating. Deleriants will have you talking phone for an hour and a half to everyone you know only to realize its been 3 minutes and you dont even have your phone. Dissociatives are strange and defy being put into words... Drink a bottle of robotussin and get back to me.

That is the opposite of true.
Deleriants take away your reason as well as fuck up your senses.
That is to say, you don't realize that you're insane for much of a delierient trip. You will see things like a dried out angel with black crayon drawing wings and a circle of teeth for a face sitting in the corner by the door, watching you, and you will accept its presence without question.
It's just the angel of eternal hunger, waiting to consume you. No big deal. That nigger always there.

But the energy of a hallucinogen keeps you rooted to the moment where you're still aware that you're mad. Delerients don't make you question much, even your hallucinations.
