No. 136
I figured I'd set it straight for you guys before you get cancer. "Spice" is a blanket term for plant material sprayed with (usually) synthetic cannabinoids in the legal grey zone. The chemicals vary from brand to brand, and thus the effects and dangers vary as well. While some brands may be safe, the majority probably aren't.
Almost all of these are chemicals that have been synthesized for the first time in the last couple of years and we have no idea what kind of effects they have on the body over the long, or even short, term. What is known, however, is that of the few RCs that have been tested, a large number of them are carcinogenic or cause havoc in your body somehow.
I look at smoking spice the same way as I look at going out in the woods and eating any random mushrooms I see. Sure, some of them are probably harmless. But, all it takes is one Amanita to really fuck up your day. This is why some brands have been known to cause obvious short term effects such as seizures and others haven't. Spice definitely isn't a singular entity like different brands of alcohol, as some people seem to look at it.
