The only thing in that demo I would even consider buying is the Kaoss Pad and that has been out for years.

Apparently they're all going to be under $150USD, which was surprising to me. I'm not nearly enough of a gear junkie to go out and buy one of these even at that price, but if I was just starting out and looking for affordable hardware or one of those people who fetishizes analog gear, this would be a decent option. They seem very limited as stand-alone "grooveboxes"," not a lot of variety of sonic character and the drums sound pretty weak. But for supplemental synth or drum machine sounds or just having analog gear for dirt cheap they seem like a good option, especially considering that a Moog Slim Phatty will run you $850 and a Dave Smith Tempest will run you like $2k.
