I like Dead Animal Guts better as a name than Azure Wave but that's probably just me. Girls will probably be more prone to going to a live show by a guy named Azure Wave; Dead Animal Guts sounds like it would be a crustpunk show.

You've got some interesting sounds going on. I feel like with more time, more songs, and more experimentation, you'll do a better job of integrating and balancing the electronic and acoustic elements of your music. You have some interesting tendencies on both fronts: your acoustic guitar stuff has some decent songwriting and good melodies, and your electronic stuff has some interesting textures. Both have a lot of delicacy and atmosphere. I think if you worked on mixing both your simpler songwriting tendencies and your textural electronic beat tendencies, you will end up with some really moody, subtle, engaging music.

Do you play live or are you planning to in the not-so-distant future? If so, how do you envision that happening? Guitar and laptop or a small sampler or something along those lines? I think you could do some cool shit with live guitar playing and a sampler or laptop running the electronic elements, and your vocal work running through the laptop/sampler for effects, since you seem to use a lot of effects on your voice.

Also, I want to post this here because I feel like this duo might give you some good ideas on ways to incorporate electronic elements into low-key singer-songwriter type music.

op here. thank you so much for your input! yeah honestly im not sure about azure wave either. i guess the name is temporary. i checked out homesick. its a pretty chill song. my main problem with producing music is my damn hard to use recording program that i have on my comp. but i usually just use garage band on my iphone. when i first started making music i used to use garage band on the mac which was, imo, the best and easiest recording program to use. im a dummy so i dont know how to use lots of the features in magix music maker 2013.

but anyway making music is fun and now that i finally have some awesome input, i now know where to focus and what to work on more!
