How do you friendzone a motherfucker in a polite way
>> No. 2869
Just do it, don't worry too much about being polite, focus on being direct

You sure? Guys seem to get very hurt when they get friendzoned. Fedora wearers call women who friendzone bitches and other such things. Is there any way to lessen the pain being friendzoned will cause?

You can't get everyone in life to like you. Are you really so afraid of being called a silly little name that you would lie through your teeth to someone?

Also, if this person is romantically interested in you and you want to remain platonic friends it will only work if they are a certain type of person or are capable of immense suffering. Usually its best to superficially hurt someones feelings so that they can move on.

Yep, better to get it over with now. Letting it go on could cause more trouble and pain in the long run for all involved.

I said nothing about wanting to lie. I asked how to be polite about friendzoning someone, how to make things less painful and awkward. Obviously lying would make things worse. It's not being called a name I am scared of: it is hurting another person's feelings more than is necessary.

Anyways, it is done. Maybe being super direct really is the best way of doing things.

"I'm really sorry, but I only like you as a friend."

Anti friendzone bullshit I read about online probably lead to me losing most of my female friends. Two thirds of relationships are started through having mutual friends. But none of my guy friends have any casual female friends because they hit on them all.

So basically just explain to him that if he doesn't act like a little bitch he is increasing his chances of getting laid in the long run.

I said no and I explained why as bluntly as I could. He was visibly hurt, but it had to be done. We are still friends. I think he still has a thing for me, but I don't mind. I said I would do what I could to help him feel alright.

Be sure that he's actually fine with being friends, otherwise you're just being selfish.

You've got no obligation to date him, but he has no obligation to be your friend.
