On 99chan the traffic is so low here barely anyone will notice if you post anything on /a/. You can try and get into a debate here if you feel like it, chances are someone (maybe me) will argue with you, but no one will ban you unless you start being really dumb.

This is mostly all you need to know, but to expand on this, 4chan's 'epic memes' (that includes demotivational posters... actually, especially demotivational posters) aren't appreciated on 99chan and may earn you a slap-on-the-wrist ban (usually only lasts an hour at the most just to let you know you were doing something you shouldn't have been, though you will earn yourself a proper ban if you keep doing whatever it was you were banned for).

What? 4/a/ loves Champloo.
The only manga/anime I can think of that /a/ almost universally dislikes are the big three (Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece).
Otherwise it's all mixed opinions of things. If you can't handle mixed opinions, you shouldn't be on the internet in the first place.

No, it's far worse. I can honestly say the whole irony thing was the nail in the coffin. 4chan has had its ups and downs ever since it was made, but thanks to its hatred of reddit and anything they think is associated with it, combined with the need to mock everything with parodies of it, the place is now beyond recovery.
