I tried to watch the movie Extinction today. It's a zombie movie that had a deceivingly good preview and was unfortunately $5 dollars on OnDemand. The zombies in the movie are slow, dumb, and hibernate at night instead of emerging at night. This means that at night, the time when things are supposed to be most tense in a zombie movie, there is no threat to the characters. The acting is bad. A man is shot in the stomach and shortly after (the same day) talks as if nothing has happened, despite the fact he is covered in blood. I only watched about half of it, so maybe someone could offer a different opinion.
