AND I'VE SEEN A COUPLE OF THESE COMMERCIALS THAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT. FELL ASLEEP WEIRD, LEG WENT NUMB, AND WHEN I WOKE UP AND COULDN'T FEEL IT, I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT ABOUT THAT COMMERCIAL. I THOUGHT SMOKING HAD FINALLY CAUGHT UP WITH ME.

NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT, WATCHING THESE FUCKING THINGS PROBABLY FRIGHTENS SOME SMOKERS TO THE POINT THAT THEY SMOKE EVEN MORE WHILE HOPING THAT NOTHING LIKE THAT EVER HAPPENS TO THEM.

I don't even smoke and the ever increasing size of disgusting pictures on cigarette packs pisses me off. Fuck's sake, here in canada it now takes up 75 percent of the box. They started selling little box-boxes that's like a sleeve for your pack that covers it up with your brand's logo, that's how fucking bad it's gotten. Pretty soon they won't be able to have their name on the fucking things.
They already can't show the packs in the open in stores, they have to be covered by a damn curtain. Just as well since every other shmuck buying a taquito at 7-11 would probably blow chunks all over the lotto tickets from seeing that wall of gory pictures. Fuck this government for pushing around private businesses. Can't smoke in the fucking bars either, bullshit.

I don't drink - not that I'm a faggot-ass Mormon or something, I just don't like it - and I do think there needs to be way more anti-drinking propaganda. Not even that it'll be effective, but shit, if you're going to go after smoking and drugs, why not go after the one drug that does the most damage?
