"GET OVER HERE!" I roared at the bee, who at that point was nearly 50 yards away.

My snake-spear shot out of my hand violently with a hiss, and made a beeline for the now cautious bee of dull yellow and shiney black.

My attack got within 2 feet of the blasted bee, when suddenly the bee shot it's projectile stinger at my snake-spear.

It was a direct hit, and the bee happily passed away, it's very last feeling before dying: victorious.

As my slithery weapon slowly made it's way back into my hand, it once again hissed, but this time with much less confidence. An utter hiss of defeat.

The moral of the story is, I have had this damn bee stinger in my hand for the past week, and it's a damn well good thing I am not alergic, because even with my best pair of tweezers, I can not remove it.

Never attack a bee with a projectile snake-spear when the bee is at such a long distance away, you will fail.
