Lets have some cool digital artwork, stuff made from artifacts of digital imaging. By this I mean anything like datamoshing, pixel-sorting, Corrupted media etc.

Here are some experiments I did with my scanner. Smearing pictures from a book called "How To Photograph Women Beautifully"

Those are pretty great. I want a scanner to play with. You should try scanning a mirrored surface. Or leave the lid open and turn the lights in your room on and off while it's scanning.

I don't get it, these look a lot like some assignments I did while studying graphic design, except I did them by makin several copies of an image and slicing them into dozens of stripes and then putting them all in order so as to "stretch" the image.

If we're talking digital artworks, lets post stuff that's virtually impossible to make with traditional methods.

That's pretty insane. Looks a bit like my 21st.

Here's an image of a fractal but with sub-surface scattering enabled. This is an effect used in 3D CG animation to add realistic depth and "fleshiness" to skin tone. When used here it lends the fractal an organic feel, looking more like living coral than plastic.

So, does http://yooouuutuuube.com count as glitch art? It's not exactly corrupted media, but it still fucks around with the format it was intended to be delivered in. I particularly like it with the duel scene from Once Upon a Time in the West.
